There is a motorcycle event going on nearly every weekend of the warmer weather months somewhere. In addition to the major rallies there are local and regional events, a small number of which I list on my other events page. I also link to a much more comprehensive list from that page.
Beside Bikes and Babes there are often concert events as well as live music by local and regional acts. There are vendors displaying their wares and you can often find a bike wash or two in the area. Of course, the real reason for a rally is to ride and to see old friends and make a few new ones.
In general the biker community takes care of its own. There are many local events that are staged as benefits either for individuals or for worthy charities. A poker run or toy run or maybe a concert may be set up to help those in need. These can all be good reasons to have a party!
